The Jack Bommer,[1] also known as the Jack Bomber,[2] is an enemy that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a mass-produced, Halloween-like Pawn Series Badnik model created by Dr. Eggman.
Appearance
Jack Bommers have the same model type as Egg Pawns. Unlike Egg Pawns, they constantly balance on a large ball, and juggle flaming orange balls.
Game appearances
Shadow the Hedgehog

A Jack Bommer in Cryptic Castle, from Shadow the Hedgehog.
Jack Bommers first appeared as enemies in Shadow the Hedgehog. They are only encountered in Cryptic Castle. In gameplay, they will throw their flaming balls at Shadow and try to ram him when he gets close enough. They also lose their juggling balls when their balance ball is attacked.
When a Jack Bommer is destroyed, the ball it balances on will create a massive explosion that will hurt the player. In order to neutralize this explosion, the player needs to attack the Jack Bommers' balance balls with a long-range weapon until they disappear. Once the ball is gone, the player can safely eliminate the Jack Bommer close up.
