J.J. Moto profile

J.J. Moto, from Sonic the Hedgehog #98.

J.J. Moto is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs, published by Archie Comics. He is a human detective in Station Square.

J. J. Moto was hired to solve the mystery of who stole the city's Chaos Emerald and destroyed Silver Sonic II. The evidence suggested it was Sonic the Hedgehog, though in actuality it was Shadow.[1]

  • Ian Flynn has stated he would love to bring Moto back and use him, but says that "random human detective" is kind of a hard angle to work with since J.J. isn't directly related to G.U.N., the comic's current main source of human characters.[2]
