Ivo Robughnik is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics.
Appearance[]
Ivo Robughnik has similar traits to the then current Robotnik, with his bald head and his signature orange mustache. Where the caveman differs is his thick orange beard and orange-spotted brown toga. Robughnik also shares a similar personality to Robotnik, as they both sang a similar song when they "defeated" their nemesis.
History[]
Being the main enemy of the Prehistoric Freedom Fighters, he terrorized them with primitive (though for him, state-of-the-art), technology such as catapults. He wishes he had minions to order, but since he has none, he orders himself around. When Sonic the Hedgehog got sent to the past, Robughnik shot a boulder at him and Sonugh the Boghog. He thought he had defeated his rival, however Sonic and Sonugh were able to go underground before the bolder crushed them. Sonic's subsequent efforts in helping the Freedom Fighters make the surface of Mobius safer for themselves almost certainly made Robughnik's campaign against them even more difficult.[1]
