Ivo Kintobor[1] is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. He was an Overlander and a member of the House of Ivo. He was the husband of Bertha Kintobor and the father of Colin and Julian Kintobor, the latter who became known as the infamous Dr. Ivo Robotnik.[1]
Appearance[]
Ivo was very similar in figure to his son Julian as an adult and was about only half a head taller than his son Colin when he had hit adolescence. He had a somewhat chubby face with no visible neck, short grey hair, black eyebrows, and a sharp black mustache. As attire, he wore round glasses and a yellow shirt with green lines.

Known Life[]
At some point in his life, Ivo married Bertha Robotnik. Eventually, in 3184, Ivo and Bertha had their first son, Colin Kintobor,[1] and on day 253, 3189, they had their second son, Julian Kintobor,[1][2] who was gifted with incredible intellect.[3] Ivo later died under unknown circumstances.
Legacy[]
Around 3236, Ivo was shown and mentioned as a part of a world-wide television biography on the late Robotnik Prime, which was broadcasted by a Dr. Robotnik from alternate reality following his rise to power.[3]

Trivia[]
- Ivo's son Julian, while enacting his coup on the Kingdom of Acorn, took Ivo's name and combined it with his wife’s maiden name to rechristened himself as "Dr. Ivo Robotnik," ruler of Mobius.[4]
- In comparison to other Overlanders, Ivo's facial appearance heavily resembles Doctor Eggman's design, to which Robo-Robotnik would changed his form into.
