Island Mystery

A Grave Mystery, the second Island Mystery encountered in Sonic Frontiers.

Island Mysteries (大謎解き, Dai Nazotoki^?, lit. "Great Mystery Solving") are missions that are found in the Open Zone areas in Sonic Frontiers, with the exception of Rhea Island and during The Final Horizon scenario.

Island Mysteries are usually locked behind storyline progression, and, once solved, will usually open an Ancient gate or build a bridge to allow further progression of the story. Once completed, an Island Mystery cannot be solved again.

Kronos Island

Turn the statue to open the gate	Near the center of the smaller island in the south.	Defeating the Ninja during the tutorial section to open an Ancient gate.
A Grave Mystery	Northwest section of the island, in the large field of gravestones.	Collect six Chaos Emeralds and complete all story scenes and quests before speaking to Amy Rose at the cemetery.

Ares Island

Drain the water to move on	In the northwest part of the island, near a large pool of water.	Watch the story scene where Knuckles the Echidna saves Sonic the Hedgehog from being attacked by Sage.
Match the colors	Near the center of the island, slightly to the east.	Collect six Chaos Emeralds and complete all story scenes and quests before speaking to Knuckles the Echidna at the crane site.

Chaos Island

Hacking Mission (Chaos Island)	Northern section of the island, next to a fallen Death Egg Robot.	Speak with Miles "Tails" Prower about the robot.
Pinball	Center of the island, near the volcano.	Collect six Chaos Emeralds and complete all story scenes and quests before speaking to Tails at the Ancient gate.

Ouranos Island

Harmonic rod	Extreme northwestern edge of the island, across from a smaller islet.	None. This Island Mystery is not required to progress the story and can be done at any time.
Hacking Mission (Ouranos Island #1)	Eastern side of the island, directly south of the smaller island.	Speak with Sage about trust and starting the device.
Hacking Mission (Ouranos Island #2)	Near the center of the island, directly in front of the large pyramid.	Collect five Chaos Emeralds and complete all story scenes and quests before speaking to Sage in front of the pyramid.
