The Indigo Wavy Trail is an object that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a trail used to modify the playable character's appearance and boost their rewards.

Description

When equipped, the Indigo Wavy Trail takes the appearance of a textured and wavery indigo streak with faint sparkles that the playable character leaves behind them while they move around or surrounds them like an aura when they stand still. This trail stretches out from behind the playable character until it eventually fades away.

Overview

In Sonic Speed Simulator, the Indigo Wavy Trail is a collectible trail of the "Epic" rarity. It can be unlocked at the blue and light blue vending machine in Snow Valley and the orange and yellow vending machine in Hill Top. When purchasing from the dark blue vending machine, the player has a 30% chance of getting an Indigo Wavy Trail and when purchased from the blue and light vending machine, the player has a 15% chance of getting said trail.

In gameplay, the Indigo Wavy Trail lets the playable character produce this trail's textured streak behind them as they move around. In addition, when equipped, the Indigo Wavy Trail will grant additional Experience Points whenever the playable character obtains a Chaos Orb and additional Rings whenever they pick up a single Ring. The player can as well level up an Indigo Wavy Trail for a cost of Rings and/or Red Star Rings at the Upgrade Machine, with level 25 being the maximum level. Leveling up an Indigo Wavy Trail will improve its reward-granting attributes. Additionally, the player can evolve an Indigo Wavy Trail by collecting five Indigo Wavy Trails, leveling all of them up to maximum, and bringing them to the Fusion Machine. Evolving an Indigo Wavy Trail will combine the Indigo Wavy Trails into a single evolved trail at level 1, with boosted base stats compared to the un-evolved version.
