The Ice Cap Zone is a location that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It is a Zone on Angel Island consisting of ice and snow.

History[]
Sonic the Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles[]
After Sonic and Tails made Dr. Eggman's Death Egg crash land on Angel Island, Sonic and Tails passed through the IceCap Zone during their mission to destroy the Death Egg for good.[1] Knuckles later passed through the IceCap Zone in pursuit of a fleeing Eggbot controlled by Dr. Julian Snively after multiple encounters on the island.[1][2]
Sonic Adventure[]
During the time Angel Island was grounded from the loss of the Master Emerald, Sonic and Tails came to the IceCap Zone in search of a Chaos Emerald, where they found one. Big the Cat would also visit this Zone during his search for Froggy.[3]
Total Eclipse[]
- Note: From the readers point of view, this picks up from where IceCap Zone's original timeline ended.
On their way to intercept Eclipse the Darkling and the Dark Arms at the Launch Base Zone before they could escape with the Master Emerald in a G.U.N. Shuttle, Knuckles and Shadow took a shortcut through the IceCap Zone.[2]
