Ian Mutchler is an American storyboarder who contributed to Sonic Mania Adventures, Team Sonic Racing Overdrive and The Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog. He has also contributed to the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by IDW Publishing.

- Mutchler's own Sonic Forces Avatar, named Ian Jr, has become a recurring cameo character in works associated with the author.
