Iago is a character that appeared in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics.
History[]
He was a member of the Lost Tribe of Echidnas and had a wife and a child who were also members. He was among those who tried to escape from the most recent Day of Fury. He doubted Athair's judgement about nobody going to die, saying "You're wrong, Athair. Everything dies," after stating that he "would give up his life for his family" stating "better him than his wife and child." But Iago was saved by Athair, who showed his gratitude by stating "I don't pretend to understand, but I believe the credit for my continuing existence belongs to brother Athair." (KtE: #10, #11, #12)
Trivia[]
- Iago presumably made it to Albion with the rest of the tribe, only to perish in Dr. Eggman's Egg Grapes.
