Hyudoros are ghost enemies in Sandopolis Zone Act 2 in Sonic & Knuckles and its locked on form, Sonic 3 & Knuckles.
Sonic and/or Tails encounter the hyudoros after they opened a capsule (how they were contaned or why is unknown). Hyudoros cannot be destroyed. If the player jumps, they follow him. If the players go fast,they disappear and meet the player where he/she is.
The only way to make the Hyudoros disappear is to pull down the light switches located around the level.
The hyudoros disappear completely when the player reaches the boss.
Hyudoros appear in three different forms,depending on how dark it is. The darker the act, the stronger the hyudoros will be:
- Bright: No Hyudoros.
- Semi-Bright: A small Hyudoro would appear.
- Semi-Dark: Two evil-looking hyudoros would appear.
- Dark: Three Hyudoros with horns on their heads would appear.
As Knuckles ,the ghosts seem to be already free,since sonic first opened the capsule.
