Hyper Tails is a transformation that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It is the hyper form of Miles "Tails" Prower, achieved by absorbing a large collection of specifically formatted super Power Rings created by Nate Morgan.

Appearance[]

Hyper Tails looks similar to how Tails normally looks, however, his hair is longer and styled into a small front curl. His facial features also seem a bit more defined, as if he has aged. His body is slightly more muscular than his standard form. Hyper Tails is surrounded by a small flock of elemental Flicky, an army that helps Tails out.

History[]

The Naugus Trilogy[]

When Ixis Naugus raided Nate Morgan's secret tundra lab, he, as well as Sonic and Tails were infused with the energies from a large cache of super Power Rings. Ugly Naugus was seemingly invincible, and was able to defeat Hyper Tails and Ultra Sonic. However, Nate Morgan used an optic laser enhanced by a power ring to defeat Naugus.[1]

Powers and abilities[]

As Hyper Tails, several of Tails' innate talents are increased dramatically, giving him greatly improved strength, speed and reflexes. Additionally, he is able to fly through mid-air without the use of his dual tails, and presumably invulnerable to virtually any harm.[2] He also controls a small flock of Flickies that moves according to his thoughts.
