Hyper Amy, officially known as Super Amy, is a transformation that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is the Hyper State of Amy Rose, achieved by harnessing the power of the seven Super Emeralds.

Appearance[]

When assuming this Hyper State, Amy's fur pulses between its regular shade and a bright blush color.

Overview[]

In Sonic Origins Plus, Amy can become Hyper Amy after the player collects all seven Super Emeralds, achieved after completing all fourteen Special Stages in Sonic 3 & Knuckles. After transforming, the player's Ring count will begin decreasing by one every second. In gameplay, Hyper Amy possesses all of the enhanced abilities of Super Amy, with the addition of being able to perform the Hammer Throw with the press of Switch x/PSTriangleButton/Y button/[E].

Powers and abilities[]

Due to being infused with an enhancement[1] of the seven Chaos Emeralds' power, Hyper Amy accordingly commands ultimate power[2] and has access to unlimited energy.[3]

Hyper Amy is capable of using her Hammer Attack in mid-air, granting her Spin Attack added range. She can also throw out a volley of Piko Piko Hammers.

Trivia[]

  • This is the first Hyper State to be achieved by a female character.
