The Hover Craft is a vehicle in Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) used by Shadow the Hedgehog. It is suitable for traveling across water and desert surfaces. Shadow begins certain stages in this vehicle.
Overview
The Hover Craft allows the player to travel across shifting sands and water like it was solid ground. It is equipped with machine guns which the player can use to attack enemies and obstacles, and can fire a hundred shots before it automatically reloads. In gameplay, the Hover Craft possesses a Vehicle Gauge above the Action Gauge that shows its durability (damage) as a health gauge and remaining ammunition. Its health gauge depletes every time the Hover Craft takes damage, and if it empties, the Hover Craft explodes and Shadow falls out of it. It can also be tipped and knocked over, the latter which will cause Shadow to fall out of the Hover Craft.[2]
The Hover Craft can only be found in Kingdom Valley, Wave Ocean and Dusty Desert. To get onboard/leave the Hover Craft, the player has to press
