Template:Character The Hot Dog Vendor (ホットドッグ屋 Hottodoggu-ya?) is a human resident of Mazuri who appears on the PS3/Xbox 360 version of Sonic Unleashed. He works at Don Fachio, a worldwide hot dog mega-franchise, and is the manager of Don Fachio's local hot dog stand in Mazuri, which is simply known as "Don Fachio's Mazuri". Just like his co-workers, he is a skilled hot dog cook.

The manager of the "Don Fachio" hot dog mega-franchise's Mazuri location. As the chain's most mysterious man, he knows how to mix up one high-volume, high-energy dog.
Chili Dog Specialty
The Hot Dog Vendor's specialty is the Scorcher Dog, a type of customized Chili Dog that is supposed to give its consumer a surge of strength, and which gives Sonic 70 EXP points when eaten. He will however only sell these Scorcher Dogs to those who can clear his missions. In the game, he hands out missions for Sonic to clear and rewards him with up to three Scorcher Dogs if he manages to pass them.
Missions
The Hot Dog Vendor's missions revolve around testing the player on the basic gameplay found in Sonic Unleashed. His mission sets are split up between Sonic the Hedgehog's gameplay and Sonic the Werehog's glameplay, which can be accessed during their respective time of day.
If Sonic manages to clear one of these missions, the Hot Dog Vendor will award Sonic with a Scorcher Dog. He will however only award Sonic once for each different mission, when he clears them for the first time. He will however hand more Scorcher Dogs out, the higher level the mission that Sonic passes has; for his level 1 missions, he will give Sonic one Scorcher Dog, for his level 2 missions, he will give him two Scorcher Dogs and for his level 3 missions, he will give him three Scorcher Dogs.

Time Trial Lv.1
- How to obtain mission: After clearing Savannah Citadel Act 1 (Day) for the first time, talk to the Hot Dog Vendor during the day and pay him 10 rings.
- Objective: Clear Savannah Citadel Act 1 (Day) within 4 minutes and 30 seconds.
Time Trial Lv.2
- How to obtain mission: After clearing the daytime mission "Time Trial Lv.1", talk to the Hot Dog Vendor during the day and pay him 20 rings.
- Objective: Clear Savannah Citadel Act 1 (Day) within 3 minutes and 30 seconds.
Time Trial Lv.3
- How to obtain mission: After clearing the daytime mission "Time Trial Lv.2", talk to the Hot Dog Vendor during the day and pay him 30 rings.
- Objective: Clear Savannah Citadel Act 1 (Day) within 2 minutes and 30 seconds.
Battle Trials
Battle Trial Lv.1
- How to obtain mission: After clearing Savannah Citadel Act 1 (Day) for the first time, talk to the Hot Dog Vendor during the day and pay him 10 rings.
- Objective: Defeat at least 20 enemies and clear Savannah Citadel Act 1 (Day).
Battle Trial Lv.2
- How to obtain mission: After clearing the mission "Battle Trial Lv.1", talk to the Hot Dog Vendor during the day and pay him 20 rings.
- Objective: Defeat at least 30 enemies and clear Savannah Citadel Act 1 (Day).
Battle Trial Lv.3
- How to obtain mission: After clearing the mission "Battle Trial Lv.2", talk to the Hot Dog Vendor during the day and pay him 30 rings.
- Objective: Defeat at least 40 enemies and clear Savannah Citadel Act 1 (Day).
Ring Trails
Ring Trial Lv.1
- How to obtain mission: After clearing Savannah Citadel Act 1 (Day) for the first time, talk to the Hot Dog Vendor during the day and pay him 10 rings.
- Objective: Clear Savannah Citadel Act 1 (Day) with at least 100 rings.
Ring Trial Lv.2
- How to obtain mission: After clearing the mission "Ring Trial Lv.1", talk to the Hot Dog Vendor during the day and pay him 20 rings.
- Objective: Clear Savannah Citadel Act 1 (Day) with at least 200 rings.
Ring Trial Lv.3
- How to obtain mission: After clearing the mission "Ring Trial Lv.2", talk to the Hot Dog Vendor during the day and pay him 30 rings.
- Objective: Clear Savannah Citadel Act 1 (Day) with at least 300 rings.
Nighttime Missions
Survival Trials
Survival Trial Lv.1
- How to obtain mission: After clearing Savannah Citadel Act 1 (Night) for the first time, talk to the Hot Dog Vendor during the day and pay him 10 rings.
- Objective: Clear Savannah Citadel Act 1 (Night) with a full health bar, while being unable to restore health during the mission.
Survival Trial Lv.2
- How to obtain mission: After clearing the mission "Survival Trial Lv.1", talk to the Hot Dog Vendor during the night and pay him 20 rings.
- Objective: Clear Savannah Citadel Act 1 (Night) with the half of a full health bar, while being unable to restore health during the mission.
Survival Trial Lv.3
- How to obtain mission: After clearing the mission "Survival Trial Lv.2", talk to the Hot Dog Vendor during the night and pay him 30 rings.
- Objective: Clear Savannah Citadel Act 1 (Night) with a quarter of a full health bar, while being unable to restore health during the mission.
Time Trials

- How to obtain mission: After clearing Savannah Citadel Act 1 (Night) for the first time, talk to the Hot Dog Vendor during the day and pay him 10 rings.
- Objective: Clear Savannah Citadel Act 1 (Night) within 20 minutes.

- How to obtain mission: After clearing the nighttime mission "Time Trial Lv.2", talk to the Hot Dog Vendor during the night and pay him 30 rings.
- Objective: Clear Savannah Citadel Act 1 (Night) within 10 minutes.
