The Holo-Transmit[1], also called the Holographic Matrix[2], is an object that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics.

Description[]

The Holo-Transmit is a device that can vary in appearance, although it is usually a small handheld machine.

The Holo-Transmit is used to project holographic images of others that can either communicate with others in real time, or record communication that can be played later on. It can also display projections of items or locations for visual references. The holograms are usually a green tone when it comes to color.

Because of her nature as an AI, Nicole is able to replicate the functions of a Holo-Transmit without the use of a device.[3]

History[]

Rouge used a Holo-Transmit to communicate with the Kingdom of Acorn during the Xorda invasion.[1]

Amadeus and Rosemary also gave Sonic a Holo-Transmit with a pre-recorded message on it for him to deliver to their son Tails.[4]

Remington found a Holo-Transmit that had been used by Gala-Na where she recorded herself explaining the origins of Dr. Finitevus, which he gave to Locke for viewing.[5]

Snively used a Holo-Transmit when trying to explain to the Iron Queen how she could use her Magitek to take control of the Nanites that make up New Mobotropolis.[6]

The Secret Freedom Fighters also have access to their own Holo-Transmit which they use for their secret operations.[7]
