Sonic the Hedgehog 2: The Official Movie Pre-Quill

During his search for Sonic, Tails went to Hill Top Zone. Upon arriving there through a Ring however, he discovered he had hit another dead end, as Sonic was nowhere to be found. Consulting his Miles Electric, Tails discovered two strong chaos energy signatures within reach: one on the Mushroom Planet and one on Earth. Detecting that some pursuers were incoming as well, Tails left Hill Top Zone through another Ring to investigate his leads. Immediately after Tails' departure, some aliens scavengers working for Knuckles visited Hill Top Zone, where they surveyed the area for Sonic.[1]
