Herschel[2] is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by IDW Publishing. He is an anthropomorphic cat who prior to Halloween night would gather his friends and plan a way to steal candy in the Seaside City.
Appearance[]
Herschel is a dark purple anthropomorphic cat with green eye liner and red glowing eyes. For attire, he wears a Dracula costume and a pair of pink shoes.

Sometime prior to Halloween night, Herschel along with his friends would build a robot and would plan to steal candy from kids by tricking them.
Sonic the Hedgehog: Halloween Special[]
Herschel would meet a group of kids on Halloween night in Seaside City. He promised he knew a shortcut in a forest to get large candy bars. He tricked the kids and scared them off to steal their candy. Herschel would later trick more kids, and the Team Chaotix along with Sonic & Tails try to hunt him down. Herschel purposely leads the heroes to a cany trail and leads them to him. Herschel is then caught and chased by Sonic, Charmy and Espio. They catch up and is cornered until his friends in the robot attack the heroes. Then Sonic & Vector handle the robot. Herschel sneak attacks Vector, after he tries to run off but is stopped by Tails. The heroes than find their candy Stach and Herschel and his friends are feeling sorry and in return help the heroes pass out candy to the rest of the kids.[2]
Personality[]
Herchel has a very child-like personality by not just tricking kids, but also having child behaviors due to him still being young. But at times him being a child can be used to his advantage of stealing candies from kids as seen at the start of his first victim of his candy heist.
Powers & Abilities[]
Despite him looking like a kid, Herschel has some pretty unique abilities. He is very shifty due to him being able to hide out and attack the heroes. He even managed to knockout Vector which proves his strength is strong.
Weakness[]
Herschel's main weakness is being caught. Once he is caught, Herschel is unable to hide unless there is a distraction.
