Hermit Koco's scroll[2] (仙人の巻物[3],Sen'nin no Makimono?, lit. "Hermit's Scroll") is an object that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. A old scroll written by Hermit Koco, obtaining and bringing said item back to its owner grants an ability to quickly warp to their locations in one of Starfall Islands.
Hermit Koco's scroll is made of a old fragile lime green paper with dark green border lines consisting of symbol markings seen in old structures around Starfall Islands. The scroll is tied up with a thin light rope with a light yellow seal being placed on the knot.

In Sonic Frontiers, Hermit Koco's scroll along with Elder Koco's scroll, is one of two types of scrolls to be earned in Fishing Spot minigame hosted by Big the Cat. Catching the scroll during the minigame will reward the player with eight Treasure Tokens.[2] The scroll can only be obtained once from each Fishing Spot on any game save file.
After exiting the Fishing Spot, the player is informed the fast travel option to Hermit Koco locations being unlocked in the Map menu.[4] During the Open Zone gameplay, the player can make Sonic fast travel to the Hermit Koco's location by navigating to the Map menu and setting the filter option to "Fast travel" with Hermit Koco icon on the upper right corner of the menu. The player can then set the the map cursor on the Hermit Koco's location in the Map with and confirming it by pressing to make Sonic transport to said location.[5] However, each scroll only works on the island where it is earned and as such, the scroll has to be obtained from other Fishing Spots found in other Starfall Islands.[6]
