The Hell House Ride is an object that appears in the Sonic the Comic series published by Fleetway Editions. It is an amusement park ride in the Carnival Night Zone designed by the Marxio Brothers.

Description

The Hell House Ride is a horror-themed roller coaster ride that goes through dark dungeons with ghouls and monsters. Along the rails are a knight in armor with axe, mud monsters, skeletons, fake ghosts, bats and disorientating courses, all of which are traps designed to ensure those riding the Hell House Ride are killed along the way. All of its functions and paths are operated from a central control room.[1]

History

The Hell House Ride was used by the Marxio Brothers for an attempt to kill Knuckles the Echidna after convincing him to try it.[2] When Chicio, who operated the Hell House Ride, could not kill Knuckles with the ride's traps, he sent him down an incomplete track that lead off the Floating Island. Due to a tight harness, Knuckles could barely move. Fortunately, he used an axe embedded in his kart to latch onto the track and free himself before he fell off the island. Knuckles, however, thought all this was a part of the ride.[1]
