Past[]

Accordingly, the Hedgehog Dynasty has been ruling Mobius for centuries, residing in cities such as Mobotropolis.[1]

Season one[]

Eventually, the evil scientist Dr. Robotnik desolated Mobotropolis with his Destroyer, before taking over its remains and renaming it "Robotropolis." Fearing for her children's lives, Queen Aleena Hedgehog consulted the Oracle of Delphius, who told her that in order to defeat Robotnik, she would have to separate from her children, but that they would eventually rejoin to form the Council of Four. Aleena thus secretly left each of her children in foster care, with Sonic being adopted by an couple living in a rural area of Mobius, Sonia being adopted by a wealthy aristocrat named Lady Windermere, and Manic being raised by a thief named Farrell after his basket was stolen from the doorstep of its intended recipient. Each of the three siblings grew up with their foster families , unaware of their heritage, their biological mother, or the existence of their siblings. However, Sonic's foster parents were eventually targeted by the Robotnik Empire, prompting them to send Sonic away to the Freedom Fighter Chuck, who acted as Sonic's adoptive uncle. Although Sonic managed to escape before the Swatbots arrived, the house Sonic's of foster parents was burned to the ground, while they were captured. Sonic would proceed to assist Chuck and the Freedom Fighters during strikes on Robotnik's many factories.[2]
