The Hedgehog Cave[1] is a location that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog film series produced by Paramount Pictures and its spin-offs. It was Sonic the Hedgehog's first home in Montana.

Description[]

The Hedgehog Cave is a small cave located somewhere in a forest in Montana, near Green Hills. The entrance to the cave appears to be simply a hole. The Hedgehog Cave itself is portrayed as a messy place, with a red tuffet, a music player, a broken washing machine, and a tall pile of, supposedly, ten thousand comic books.[1] It also features many decorations, such as traffic signs, construction cones and other things that Sonic has picked up over the years.

History[]

Film series[]

Past[]

In the past, Sonic established the Hedgehog Cave three years after leaving Mobius. There, he would try to live his best life on Earth by entertaining himself with the content for the Hedgehog Cave that he picked up over the next seven years. It was also where he kept Longclaw's bag of Rings for safekeeping. Once, while goofing around in the Hedgehog Cave, Sonic accidently spilled his Rings, which he would use one of to take a look at the Mushroom Planet.

After being discovered by the United States government, Sonic went to the Hedgehog Cave to pack the things he needed for his departure from Earth, including his Rings. Before he could use a Ring to escape however, Sonic noticed the United States Army was just outside the Hedgehog Cave, and as such left it to find a safer place to leave Earth at.

Days later, Tom and Maddie Wachowski took all of Sonic's things in the Hedgehog Cave to the attic of their house so that Sonic could live with them.
