As such, he is a very large and burly anthropomorphic cat with the majority of his body covered in purple fur with dark violet stripes running up his arms and long tail with the end frayed. His feet are covered in dark violet fur up to his ankles as well as the outer tips of his large triangular ears and around his eyes. He possesses white fur that covers his torso, upper chest and muzzle protruding outwards, and inner ears. He also has black eyes with pale yellow sclera, and a small black nose. Hangry has many dark markings across his body, primarily on his head and belly.
For attire, Hangry Cat wears light brown gloves held in place by leafage. His shoes consist of leafage as well which is held together by ropes.
History[]
TV series[]
Past[]
Sometime prior to Sonic's arrival in the Boscage Maze, Hangry Cat and the other Scavengers had been in conflict with Thorn Rose over dominion over the jungle floor and access to its resources.[2]
Season one[]
Hangry Cat was first seen being flung skyward, only for Sonic to run into him and his fellow scavengers, after which they attacked Sonic thinking he was there to steal their supplies. Eventually calming down, Sonic explained his situation to the Scavengers, and Hangry followed the others around as Prim explained their situation to Sonic. Soon, Hangry got in a fight with Mangey and Gnarly over the only berry they have to eat, with Sonic breaking up their fight and promising them he can get them more berries.
Hangry and the other scavengers, alongside Sonic, soon descended down to the jungle floor in order to scavenge for supplies and while Sonic dealt with the monster. Eventually, the monster attacked, taking out Hangry and the others one by one, causing Hangry and his friends to retreat back to the treetops.
Eventually, Sonic made Thorn realize the damage she caused. Hangry and the other scavengers went down to the forest again, and made peace with their former friend.
Season two[]
After the Chaos Council shows up at the Boscage Maze, Thorn tells her friends they should stand up and help her fight. Hangry is scared about that idea, and decides to stay back along with his other friends. Thorn and Sonic go to the fight, but it doesn't take long until Hangry and all the other Scavengers also come down to help.
Season three[]
When the worlds start to decay, Hangry goes to New Yoke with the rest of the Scavangers to help the city's citizens. He is very confused to meet his counterpart Denizen 1998. He later joins the rest when they go to the Grim to protect Sonic from Nine. Hangry follows Rebel's plan and goes on a mission alongside Prim and Gnarly to reach the top of Nine's Citadel. Despite some attacks from Grim robots, they are able to make it quite far, but Nine eventually finds out and sents them flying in the air. Hangry is saved by Prim and he arrives safely on the ground. When the fight is finally over, Hangry and the others break into Nine's lab to put an end to the war.
Personality[]
Due to the lack of food, Hangry Cat is very obsessed with food, even more so compared to the other Scavengers.
Powers and abilities[]
Hangry Cat is proficient in scavenging, as it is how he survives. He is also skilled with a slingshot.
