The Hammer Oak (ハンマーオーク, Hanmā Ōku^?) is an enemy that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a stronger variant of the Black Oak that exclusively wields the Dark Hammer.

Appearance

The Hammer Oaks appear identical to Black Oaks. They have nasty dark green skin, with red color starts from their upper arms to the end of their hands, and from their ankles to their feet. They also have sharp claws on both their hands and feet.

Overview

In Shadow the Hedgehog, the Hammer Oaks appear as enemies. They only appear in Final Haunt and The Last Way. Upon defeating one, it will reward 1,000 points to the player, as well allowing Shadow to wield the enemy's Dark Hammer.

The Hammer Oaks wield the Dark Hammer, in which they use it to strike their enemy with a swing.
