The Hammer Attack is a move that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by the Archie Comics.
Description[]
The Hammer Attack is an ability primarily used by Amy Rose, where she uses her Piko Piko Hammer. The attack is often accompanied by a trail of pink or red hearts, likely as a result of the magical origin of the Piko Piko Hammer. The Hammer Attack has been shown to be powerful enough to wipe out entire hordes of War-Bots.
History[]
Amy has used the Hammer Attack from the moment she acquired her Piko Piko Hammer, such as against E-100 Alpha in Station Square when it confronted her.[1] when she fought a crowd of War-Bots while defending Fort Acorn.[2], when she fought Rosy the Rascal when visiting Moebius[3], against Jun Kun and the Yagyu Clan when the Iron Dominion invaded New Mobotropolis[4], and against the Krudzu-controlled Metal Knuckles in Albion.[5]
