For an unspecified time, the Gryphon terrorized the centaur village of Portstable. When meeting Tails, it attempted to eat him but was defeated when it collided onto the ground and was knocked out as it did not expect Tails to fly. For seemingly defeating the Gryphon, the centaurs hailed Tails as a hero.
