The Great Pyramids of Egypt are a location that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog film series produced by Paramount Pictures and its spin-offs. They are a touristic place located in Egypt.
Description[]
The Great Pyramids of Egypt are located in a vast sand desert, and consists of a collection of several ancient stone pyramid complexes.
The Great Pyramids of Egypt are considered one of the Seven Wonders of the world. Because of that, it is strictly forbidden to walk on them.

Sonic the Hedgehog[]
While Sonic and Eggman were battling, they briefly arrived at the Great Pyramids of Egypt through a Ring. After having distracted Robotnik and his Eggpod, Sonic ran up one of the pyramids and tried to use another Ring to escape. However, Robotnik quickly recovered from his distraction and fired a laser at the pyramid, damaging it and sending Sonic flying through his Ring to Green Hills, before following Sonic through said Ring.

While they were battling, Sonic the Hedgehog and Dr. Robotnik briefly arrived in the Great Pyramids of Egypt through a Ring before later escaping to Green Hills through another Ring.[1]

After defeating Dr. Robotnik, Sonic went off to visit many places around the world. He started a travel diary to keep track of the many locations he visited since making his home in Green Hills. While in Egypt, Sonic briefly travelled over the country's ancient, Great Pyramids before heading off to India.
