Glide is a move that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog film series and its spin-offs produced by Paramount Pictures. It is a traversal ability used by Knuckles the Echidna.
Description[]
Knuckles leaps or falls of a ledge and manipulates the air currents around him which makes it possible for the him to both slow down the rate of the descent from the fall and to move significant horizontal distances while descending. However, Knuckles can only use this for a brief amount of time before he drops back down mid-air.
