The Giant-One (ジャイアント・ワンズ Jaianto wanzu?), also written as Giant One, is an enemy that appears in Sonic and the Black Knight. They are a type of the Knights of the Underworld and are by far the largest and physically strongest of their kind.
Appearance
The Giant-Ones resemble larger and bulkier Soldier-Ones, standing over two times their size. They are humanoid in appearance, but with large forearms and hands, and short legs. They are clothed in full-body gray armor that resembling those used by medieval knights which has yellow medieval markings on the torso, shoulders and forearms. Behind their helmet, they have a single eye.

However, they are also the toughest to defeat, as they each have to be slashed regularly several times before they are defeated. A good way to attack the Giant-Ones up close without being grabbed by them is by using Soul Surge. Also, if the playable character is equipped with Skills such as Giant Killer or Giant Killer+1, the Giant-Ones take less hits to be defeated.
In battle, the Giant-One attacks by swinging its axe which can be blocked using Guard. Should the player come too close, the Giant-One will grab the playable character and toss him/her away, causing damage. Weapons
The Giant-Ones each wield a four-bladed battle axe that are larger than themselves. The blades on their axes are aligned as an "X" and have a extra long heel. They uses these axes to cover large areas with their swipes.
