Gerald’s Diary is an object that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics.
Description[]
Gerald’s Diary is a disc that contains information about Project Shadow. It is kept in a book with a brown cover, that is meant to disguise as the real diary, when in fact, all the information is seemingly within the disc.
History[]
Fed up with Doctor Eggman and eventually learning of his true motives, Shadow confronted Eggman and Snively, demanding they tell him where Gerald’s diary is. While Eggman refused, Snively eventually caved in and told him it was in Eggman’s private study. Shadow eventually found it there and wished to extract the information within the disc, but, wanting to do it in a secure environment, chose to go to the Knothole Freedom Fighters to help him. While Shadow was on his way there, the disc was partially damaged by an Egg Flapper, before running into Sonic and Tails and telling them about his situation. Sonic and Tails took him to the Brain Trust Laboratory, where they had Nicole upload Sonic and Shadow into the disc via the P.L.O.T. device, and upon meeting digital constructs of Maria and Gerald whom Shadow spoke with, Sonic, Shadow, and Nicole left the deteriorating world of the disc.[1]
