The Iblis Worm counterparts are unnamed supernatural beasts, that is most likely controlled by Mephiles, that serve as his minions in Sonic the Hedgehog (2006).
Description
The Iblis Worm counterpart is an enormous purple creature that resembles a parasite. It shares a very similar appearance to Iblis Worm. However, it is stronger than the Iblis Worm, possessing twice as much health, and requiring twice as many hits to be defeated. In addition to the usual attack patterns of Iblis Worms, Iblis Worm counterparts have the added ability of breathing poisonous gas on the player. Like Iblis Worm, it can burrows in the ground.
