Season two

The Gargoyle awoke when Sonic and Sally tried to enter the palace on the Floating Island. After Sonic noticed that the stone Gargoyles were moving, the Gargoyles rose up and attacked the duo. The Gargoyles then began to chase Sonic and Sally around on the island, sending Dulcy flying in the process. Sonic, however, lured them off the edge of the island. As the Gargoyles jumped off the edge of the island, they disappeared in a blink of an eye.[1]

The Gargoyles are highly aggressive towards all intruders who will try to enter the palace on the Floating Island.[1]

Gargoyles are able to appear as inanimate statues, allowing them to launch surprise attacks. They are also quite fast and strong, capable of sending someone as large as Dulcy flying by ramming into her and gradually approach someone as fast as Sonic.
