When Blaze came to Southern Island during her hunt for the Jeweled Scepter, Gardon accompanied her and took residence at the Ocean Tornado's docks. There, Gardon immediately recognized Sonic the Hedgehog upon introducing himself to him, as Blaze had informed him of her adventure and encounter with Sonic in his dimension. Along with the other guards, Gardon is ordered to seek out the Sol Emeralds.
When the Jeweled Scepter when missing shortly after Blaze and her friends had reclaimed it, Gardon quickly reported the theft to the princess.
Personality
Gardon is very devoted to his duty and Blaze, and expresses a great deal of concern for the princess's well-being as he asks Sonic to take good care of her. He also holds great respect for Blaze, addressing her as "Your Highness" (which often annoys her) and "Princess Blaze" when in her presence.
Powers and abilities
Weapons
Gardon wields a short sword with a rectangular yellow guard and sword pommel, and a black grip. His proficiency with it is unknown.
Gardon also appeared in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics though he is not named. When Metal Sonic was teleported to the Sol Zone, he came to the Southern Island and started attacking natives. Gardon joined the fight, but his sword was broken in the process. When Blaze got there, she dealt with Metal Sonic with the help of Shadow the Hedgehog and Marine the Raccoon.[1]
