Gamma Spectrum Analyzer

The Gamma Spectrum Analyzer in action.

The Gamma Spectrum Analyzer is a device that appears in Sonic Underground. It is a scanning apparatus for ancient objects. It resides in the Professor's laboratory at Mobius University.

Description[]

The Gamma Spectrum Analyzer is capable of examining ancient objects and working out their exact structure and elemental composition. The machine is operated by placing the object on a pedestal and pressing the corresponding buttons on a panel.

History[]

In order to find the location of the ancient city of Mobupinchu, Sonic and Sonia decided to look for clues on one of the artifacts they stole from Doctor Robotnik's auction. They took the artifact to Mobius University and the Professor used the Gamma Spectrum Analyzer to determine where it was buried. According to the scan, the artifact was not from Mobupinchu and was in fact a dangerous weapon.[1]
