GP Boost is an Item Box power-up that appears in Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity. When obtained, it grants the player a random amount of Gravity Points.

Description

The Item Boxes with GP Boost feature a square icon with round corners depicting a rounded flash of white light on a blue background with the number thirty, fifty, a hundred or MAX (indicating the amount of Gravity Points it holds).

Overview

In gameplay, when the player obtains GP Boost, the player's GP Gauge is filled with a certain amount of Gravity Points. The amount of Gravity Points each GP Boost grants is random, differing between thirty, fifty, a hundred Gravity Points, or even maximum capacity.

The player can obtain GP Boost at random by touching one of the Item Boxes that lie scattered across the racing course, though some of these Item Boxes that are permanently set to GP Boost with a fixed value. When obtaining it, GP Boost's icon appears briefly on-screen.
