Timecards?! What part of "eternal servitude" don't you understand?!

— The Froglodyte Taskmaster, "Return of the Buddy Buddy Temple of Doom"

The Froglodyte Taskmaster,[2] also spelled as Froglodyte Task Master,[1] is a character that appears in the Sonic Boom series. He is an anthropomorphic frog and a Froglodyte supervisor who imposes hard or burdensome work.

Appearance[]

The Froglodyte Taskmaster is a green-skinned and slimy anthropomorphic frog whose head and body come together in an almost indistinguishable oval shape. He has black eyes with horizontal pupils and pale yellow sclera, pronounced brows, thick green lips and a gray underbelly. His forearms are thick and his hands have four fingers while his feet have three toes. Each of his digits also have webbing between them and round dots on their tips. He also have warts on his arms and back. For attire, the taskmaster wears a purple body cloth and purple bracelets with spikes.

History[]

TV series[]

Season two[]

Frogladites have gogabas captive

The taskmaster dealing with the Gogobas.

The taskmaster was among the group of his people who met Dr. Eggman when the doctor breached the Froglodyte Caves. Believing Eggman to be a magic king because of his Eggmobile, the taskmaster complied to the high priest's decision when he made the Froglodytes Eggman's slaves. After the Froglodytes kidnapped the Gogobas, the taskmaster was assigned to keep them working in the mines in their search for the Tummel Crystal, an object which Eggman sought. Although the Gogobas annoyed the taskmaster to no end, he was reminded by Eggman that the doctor would have him do the work if not for the Gogobas.[3]

Personality[]

The taskmaster is extremely short-tempered and very loud. He has a no-nonsense attitude and does not tolerate lazy workers, like the Gogobas.[3]

Like the rest of the Froglodytes, the taskmaster is a superstitious nitwit, being quick to assume that those in possession of advanced technology are magical and kingly cyborg-creatures. He will likewise gladly offer his eternal servitude to such perceived entities in order to have his life spared.[3]

Powers and abilities[]

Weapons[]

The taskmaster wields a whip made of green vines, which he uses to threaten and motivate his slaves.[3]

I noticed a mistake on the wiki and wanted to let someone know. The character you have listed as Froglodyte Taskmaster is actually Froglodyte Drill Sergeant. Taskmaster is the character Bill voices in Buddy Buddy Temple of Doom who grows frustrated with a Gogoba. There's also a Froglodyte High Priest who has had a number of speaking roles, but I noticed doesn't have a wiki page himself. Hope that helps!"
