The Freedom Emeralds on the Crown of Acorns.
The Freedom Emeralds are four green gems that adorn the Crown of Acorns. They are spherical and opaque.
History[]
The Freedom Emeralds were kept in a jewelry box by Sally Acorn alongside the Crown of Acorns, but were stolen by one of Robotnik's robot spies and scattered in the air, land, and sea, as well as underground. Sonic the Hedgehog managed to retrieve them and restored them to the crown.[1]
Trivia[]
- The Crown of Acorns' history is heavily retconned in later issues, and the Freedom Emeralds have not appeared since their single early appearance. They may no longer exist in the canonical Archie series.
