The Foxy Chao is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a Chao that can increase their bonded individual's rewards.

Appearance

The Foxy Chao is a pink Chao with purple appendages. It also has two big eyes and a purple sphere above its box head.

For attire, the Foxy Chao wears a cardboard box on its head with fox-like ears on top. The box also has a hole in the front for the Chao to see.

Overview

In Sonic Speed Simulator, the Foxy Chao is a collectible pet of the "Epic" rarity. It can be obtained by redeeming the code "lankyboxbox" in the Shop following the game's update to the v1.22.1 version.

In gameplay, Foxy Chao can be equipped to the playable character, allowing them to fly by the side of the playable character as they move around. In addition, when equipped, Foxy Chao will grant additional Experience Points whenever the playable character obtains a Chaos Orb. The player can as well level up Foxy Chao for a cost of Rings and/or Red Star Rings at the Upgrade Machine, with level 25 being the maximum level. Leveling up a Foxy Chao will improve its reward-granting attributes. Because only 1 can be obtained through the code, Foxy Chao are incapable of Fusion.

Powers and abilities

Foxy Chao are capable of flight. In addition, they possess the power to increase the rewards granted to the person they have bonded with.

Trivia

• The Foxy Chao's name and appearance are meant as a reference to the Roblox YouTube channel "LankyBox". This is one of the two Chao in Sonic Speed Simulator which references the channel, the other being the Boxy Chao.
