Villain: Black Doom
-Sonic is running through Sapphire City-
Sonic: Ah, nothing like a good rest and a run through a relaxing atmosphere to calm the nerves, and after Shadow stole that Chaos Emerald, I sure needed it.
-He sees something-
Sonic: Hey! What's that?
-Sonic dashes forward to find Omega-
Sonic: Omega?! What're you doing here?
Omega: Shadow The Hedgehog: located.
Sonic: Nah, I ain't Shadow. I'm Sonic! So you're looking for Shadow, huh? It just so happens that I'm looking for him, too.
Omega: A temporary partnership seems logical.
Sonic: My thoughts exactly, bot boy. I think we should start by looking around the cities in this area.
Omega: Affirmative.
-Level Begins: Sapphire City-
-Sonic and Omega are running along when suddenly-...-
???: Stop where you are.
-Sonic and Omega halt-
Sonic: Whoa! Where'd that come from?
-Black Doom emerges-
Sonic: Hey, I know you! You're-
Black Doom: Yes...We've met before, haven't we, blue hedgehog? I see you have made an alliance with that scientist.
Sonic: Eggman is no friend of ours! I know what you're up to, now tell us: Where's Shadow?
Black Doom: My, my, aren't we in a rush? Heh heh. Suppose I don't tell you.
Sonic: Heh. Then we'll just force it outta ya!
Omega: Initiating battle mode.
Black Doom: Heheheh. HA HA HA! Fools. Pathetic mortals. Do you forget who I am?!
-Boss Fight: Black Doom-
Black Doom: Hmmm...impressive. You're so similar to Shadow, it's almost uncanny.
Sonic: You should see me when I get mad.
Black Doom: HA HA HA HA! I find you amusing, therefor I will spare your lives...for now. Until we meet again, blue hedgehog, farewell. CHAOS CONTROL!
-Black Doom disappears-
Sonic: Wait! Ugh, he's gone, and he never told us where Shadow is. C'mon Omega, let's check the next city over.
Omega: Affirmative. New destination: Station Square.
-Level begins: Creepy Crossway-
-Sonic and Omega are searching through Station Square-
Sonic: Where could he be? Normally, I bump into him everywhere out of sheer plot convenience.
-Omega beeps and stops moving-
Sonic: You ok there, pal?
Omega: Affirmative. Proceed on without me. I have other matters to attend to.
Sonic: Oh, ok then. See ya Omega. Nice talkin' to ya, kinda.
-Sonic takes off, leaving Omega standing there. Omega turns around. Blaze is seen hopping on rooftops in the background. Omega follows her-
