I've been thinking recently and it's been bothering me that not only are their so many Characters Objects and Vehicles that the pages are beginning to blend together some much I can go from looking at some thing game related to Archie then to Sonic X and go through all of the other things and get lost trying to find what I'm looking for. It's gotten to the point where we needed to break up every category page based on the series that way it can be easier to look at. As well as for pages we don't break up we should put the games at the for front before all others because just looking at some category pages I see characters from series other then the games show up. There are other wiki's that are more devoted to them but none are as game focus as we are we should put the game stuff foremost because those other wikis have better pages for things that they cover. I see your problem, but is it just your problem? Are others having a hard time locating the desired object(s) through our categories? If not, then these changes will not be considered, especially seeing as we already have object categories for separate media. You seem to not realize that we are not just a gaming wiki. We cover many other topics ranging from comics and television to toys and music. There are going to be many objects that are utilized in other media, and thus, you are very likely to experience cross references as you're browsing the site. Why should we focus more on giving attention to mainly the games? There are other gaming wikis, sure, but there is only one Sonic News Network. We do things the way we believe they should be done, and not organize our content to be based on how other wikis may configure their information. This is just another factor that makes us a unique database. ★EYCEST★R★ ★Contact★ 16:06, March 5, 2013 (UTC) The wolf has put it flawlessly. I'm not facing any challenge in reaching a given page via categories, so I have no desire to optimize our category system further. Everything else I have to say would just be echoing DarkFuture, so... that's my point of view. I think what Sonamyfan666 is trying to say is that because of issues with categories, pages completely unrelated to the page you're on appear in the "Read More" section. Yes, sometimes vague categories don't cause this, but sometimes they do. I think he means categories should be more specific, not more vague. Of course, I'd like it if this was verified (because I'm about as confused as anyone else). Personally, I've considered splitting several categories to accomplish this purpose. So some people are complaining that the categories are too big and some that they are too narrow. I take that as evidence that we have the balance about right. Sonamyfan, nobody but you has reported having trouble finding pages in categories, and your suggestion that pages will become harder to find when categories get bigger is bizarre. We already have characters, objects, and a load of other things broken down by series. Just use those categories instead of 'Heroes', which is a daft category anyway. -- Supermorff (talk) 12:44, March 6, 2013 (UTC)
