Fortified is a positive status effect and a battle mechanic that appears in Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood.

OverviewEdit

In gameplay, when a target is affected by Fortified, he/she takes less damage from enemies' attacks. A few rounds after the target has been given this status effect, however, Fortified will wear off. Targets with Fortified are signified by a brown brick wall floating in front of them.

Fortified can be given to a playable character by performing certain POW moves, such as Tough, or by using Iron Tonic.
