The Flying Spin Attack[1] (空中回転ジャンプ[2] Kūchū Kaiten Janpu?, lit. "Midair Spin Jump"), also known as the Air Roll,[3] is a move that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a variant of the Spin Attack used by both Sonic the Hedgehog and Miles "Tails" Prower. When performing this move, the user turn into ball form in the mid-air.
Description[]
In Sonic the Hedgehog Triple Trouble, the player is able to perform the Flying Spin Attack by pressing or again to curl up mid-air. Flying Spin Attack gives extra protection for the player, who can also attack enemies from below them. It is also the only way to damage the Tart Turtle during its second strategy in Great Turquoise Zone Act 3.
