The Flicky is a creature that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It is a race of mobini birds and the alternate reality counterparts of the Prime Zone Flickies from the In Another Time, In Another Place Zone.

Description[]

Anatomy[]

The typical Flicky is a small and rotund bird with a blue plumage and orange three-toed feet. They have round-shaped heads with two large black eyes, soft orange beaks and three upward-looking tufts above their foreheads. Their wings are medium-sized compared to their bodies which are smaller than their heads and their tails consist of small tail feathers. In terms of markings they have red cheeks, a dark blue patch across their eyes, and dark blue bellies.

Characteristics and culture[]

Flickies are friendly and helpful creatures that care for Sonic. Although recognized as animal life, Flickies are remarkably intelligent, being capable of understanding normal language and acting upon the request of more more sapient creatures.[1]

Powers and abilities[]

Thanks to their wings, the Flickies are capable of flight.[1]

History[]

Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode II[]

After Sonic the Hedgehog returned from defeating Dr. Eggman and his Egg Destroyer Battlesuit, the Flickies would help guide Sonic and Tails in the Tornado to the place where Eggman was after their mobini friends told Sonic and Tails that Eggman was causing trouble elsewhere.[1]
