The Flash Shot[1] is an object that appears in Shadow the Hedgehog. It is a gun-type weapon usable to both enemies and the player and one of the primary weapons of the Black Arms.

Description

Being a Black Arms-native weapon, the Flash Shot is an alien weapon. Loosely based on a gun, the Flash Shot is gray with two parallel gun barrels. Two crimson, Black Arms-native symbols are emblazoned on top of the barrels and its handle is black and gray.

Overview

In gameplay, the Flash Shot can only be found in certain Stages. They can be wielded by enemies aligned with the Black Arms who will use them against the player.

Flash Shots can be dropped by defeated Black Arm enemies that wield them or released from containers. Touching them will make Shadow pick them up automatically and pressing Square/SNNBGAMECUBEDISCO/XboxX (whether on the ground or in mid-air) fires them. Holding down Square/SNNBGAMECUBEDISCO/XboxX makes them fire continuously shots as well. As a gun, the Flash Shot can shoot enemies from a distance (targets within range will be automatically targeted). By comparison, the Flash Shots' shots have a short range and deal low damage, but they have enough rounds to defeat fifteen enemies at most. A Flash Shot has a total of twenty shots and once those run out, it becomes useless. However, it can be reloaded with another twenty shots by picking up another Flash Shot.
