Fisher-Price is an American company based in New York and has been a subsidiary of Mattel since 1993. They produce educational toys for children and infants. In 2003 they produced Sonic the Hedgehog toys for McDonald's.

In 2003 Fisher-Price produced the SEGA Mini Video Games line of LCD games for McDonald's Happy Meal.[1] The line consisted of six games based on Sega franchises, most of them being based on the Sonic the Hedgehog series.

A second set of LCD games was produced by Fisher-Price the following year to promote the international release of Sonic Heroes, and Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg. A special competition was held in North America where prizes could be won if a participant recieved a rare chrome silver game.
