The first bank of Walla Walla[1] is a location that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog film series produced by Paramount Pictures and its spin-offs. It is a financial institution in Walla Walla that housed belongings from Dr. Robotnik.[1]

Description[]

The first bank of Walla Walla is a large building with an entrance featuring neoclassical architecture and double doors. The insides include an office-like atmosphere, and the inner sections of the bank holds a typical bank vault made of metal which uses armored walls encompassing an entire room and a tightly fashioned and circular door that can be closed with a complex lock. The bank is used for both storing money and depositing personal belongings in a secure location.[1]

Once, a group of bank robbers led by Jason attacked the first bank of Walla Walla in order to retrieve a Robotnik Control Glove and Dr. Robotnik's manifesto from a deposit box in the bank's vault as a part of a job they had been hired for by Agent Stone. Thanks to their leader, Lindsey, who had infiltrated the bank by posing as a visitor that they took hostage, Jason found the Robotnik Control Glove in the vault and went to work activating it. Soon after though, Sonic arrived in the bank in order to stop the robbery. When he met Lindsey however, who was hiding behind a desk, she heard Sonic mention his reasons for coming. As such, she lured Sonic into the vault where she tasered him into unconsciousness while his back was turned. With her cover blown, Lindsey told Jason to hurry up before updating Stone on the job. When she mentioned Sonic however, Lindsey and Stone made another worthwhile deal to deliver Sonic, whom they locked in the vault, to Stone. Upon then activating the Robotnik Control Glove, Jason got some local Badniks to come and begin hauling the bank's vault out, treating the building apart in the process. Seeing this awesome display, Lindsey and Jason decided to keep the glove for their benefits and make a fortune with the vault's contents. However, Sonic forced the Badniks to drop the vault back into the bank by causing it to spin around.

While Lindsey's gang prepared to face Sonic, Sonic broke out of the vault, although his attempts to threaten the criminals with a superhero nickname failed. Regardless, Sonic went to work overpowering the thugs while Lindsey used the Robotnik Control Glove to call in a Badnik. When Lindsey tried to attack Sonic with the Badnik however, that Badnik got taken over by Stone, who used it to drag Lindsey away with the Robotnik Control Glove. After then setting the robbers up for arrest and telling everyone in the bank to keep quiet about him, Sonic saved Lindsey when she slipped out of the glove and stood to break her neck, though the Badnik got away with the Robotnik Control Glove. Considering the day saved nonetheless, Sonic left the bank while Tom Wachowski and the local police apprehended Lindsey's gang.[1]
