The Final Zone is a location that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It was a region near the Scrap Brain Zone during Operation: Clean Sweep and was very similar in appearance.

Description

Instead of the traps and obstacles seen in the Scrap Brain Zone, the Final Zone had pipe elevators that Dr. Eggman used for crushing victims.

History

During the period when Operation: Clean Sweep altered reality and reshaped Mobius, Sonic and the remaining Freedom Fighters arrived. Sonic was trapped in a force field by Dr. Eggman, who appeared in one of the pipe elevators. After Dr. Eggman's defeat in this zone, he jumped in his Egg Mobile and tried to get away, but was hit by Sonic and fell down a pit.

Note: From this point, the Final Zone's history continues from its new existence in the altered timeline.

Trivia

• The Final Zone is based on the last Zone in the original Sonic the Hedgehog video game.
