The Final Lizard (ファイナルリザード Fainarurizādo?)[1] is a transformation that appears in the Sonic X anime series. It is the Bio Lizard, having transformed by fusing with the Space Colony ARK. When Sonic the Hedgehog and his allies stopped the Space Colony ARK from colliding with the Earth on its own, the Bio Lizard merged with the ARK to become Final Lizard and keep it on its crash course. However, he was destroyed by Super Sonic and Super Shadow.

The Final Lizard consists essentially of its original form merged with the Space Colony ARK on the Eclipse Cannon, making the entire ARK a part of its body and the Final Lizard one of the largest entities in the series. At the tip point of the Eclipse Cannon, the Final Lizard's organic body can be found, which is its original form. Its organic body has retained its original proportions, being 85 meters (280 feet) long, 30 meters (100 feet) wide and 19.5 meters (64 feet) at the tallest point on its back,[1] though it has lost the cable on the left side of its head. Also, from the waist down, the Final Lizard's body has merged with the cannon's metal and has thus lost its hind legs and tail.

Shadow Saga[]
When the Bio Lizard failed to stop Knuckles from using the Master Emerald to deactivate the Chaos Emeralds, the Space Colony ARK lost the power needed to keep it on its collision course with Earth. Acting upon the orders of the late Gerald Robotnik though, the Bio Lizard used Chaos Control to warp out of the ARK's central core and made his body reform himself on the Eclipse Cannon like a growth, thus becoming the Final Lizard. Taking control of the ARK, the Final Lizard resumed the ARK's crash course by dragging it towards the planet. Shortly after though, the Final Lizard was attacked by Super Sonic and Super Shadow, and he engaged them in a showdown in space. After an intense battle, Super Sonic and Super Shadow destroyed the Final Lizard's life support system, which blew the beast to smithereens.[2]
Powers and abilities[]
The Final Lizard was a quite powerful being as it took the united power of both Super Sonic and Super Shadow to destroy it. In addition to its might, it had impressive durability as it could take a fully-charged hit from both Super Sonic and Super Shadow to the head and survive, though it felt much pain. It could also fire large red energy beams from its mouth which was its most powerful attack.[2]
Due to being physically connected to the Space Colony ARK, the Finalhazard could control the entire ARK, though it is not known to what extent other than controlling the ARK's crash course.[2] As the prototype of the Ultimate Creature, the Final Lizard also possessed an immortal body,[1] though it could still be wounded and killed.
