Not to be confused with Super Sonic.

Supersonic, credited to H.W.A. featuring Sonic the Hedgehog, is one of the first music pieces related to the Sonic the Hedgehog series that was released on the market. It was released in 1992 as a maxi single by Zomba Records's subsidiary, Internal Affairs, and was published in vinyl, cassette and CD formats in the United Kingdom. Supersonic features tracks that are based on the background music of Green Hill Zone, which was composed by Dreams Come True's Masato Nakamura, but with arrangements done by Wayne Brown.[1]

All the proceedings that Sega received from the sales of Supersonic were donated to the Nordoff-Robbins music therapy center.[1]
