Fighter Jets are vehicles that appear in the Sonic X anime series. They are combat aircraft used by the Air Force and Navies of the Guardian Units of the Nations to defend Earth at all costs from threats, especially from Dr. Eggman.
Description[]
Appearance[]
Fighter jets are basically long thinned aircraft. They are mostly colored grey with bent tails and wingtips. On the front of the cockpit, also adds other two wingtips on its side as well.
Abilities[]
As aircraft, fighter jets mostly are armed with rockets or air-to surface missiles capable of destroying targets on the ground or in the air.

New World Saga[]
Fighter jets were deployed during the attack on Dr. Eggman's island base, where the plan would be that GUN special forces led by agents Topaz and Rouge would infiltrate the inside of the fortress to destroy the generator room while fighter jets and naval ships would attack the fortress as a distraction. Upon witnessing Eggman and his robot E-35 Funfun leave to retrieve a Chaos Emerald hidden underground a cornfield, a GUN agent ordered the government to mobilize the attack. The fighter jets are then deployed with squadron B being ordered for an attack run on the island, which is witnessed by Knuckles the Echidna himself.
The fighter jets then set up a ground attack run, joining forces with GUN's naval fleet, firing missiles on Eggman's fortress. This prompts Decoe and Bocoe to launch a counterattack by sending E-11 Beacon and E-13 Guardbot to attack the air forces, which proved quite effective. However, this was all a distraction as the GUN soldiers led by Topaz and Rouge were able to sneak in to Eggman's fortress. Meanwhile, Knuckles began sneaking up inside one of the fighter jets as a second squadron of them began launching an attack run. As the second squad of military jets launched an attack run, a pilot began firing its missile, with Knuckles riding on it like a surfboard as he began to infiltrate Eggman's fortress to assist Rouge and GUN.
Chaos Emerald Saga[]
Fighter jets were soon deployed from an aircraft carrier to track Sonic the Hedgehog when Jerome Wise decides to mobilize the military to hunt him down when he believes he didn't show up at the party.
Trivia[]
- The Fighter Jets appearance somewhat resembles and is based off the real-life F/A-18 Super Hornet, with elements of an Sukhoi Su-27 Flanker, F-15 Eagle, alongside the Eurofighter Typhoon.
