Soleanna during the Festival of the Sun.
Every year, the people of Soleanna gather in the center of the capital city to pay homage to Solaris, the sun god. At the center of this grand, elaborate ceremony is Princess Elise, the last surviving member of the once-great royal family. The princess lights a beautiful fountain of fire, bathing the city in the crackling glow of a thousand flames. Fireworks fill the sky and there is much rejoicing by the general populace
The Festival of the Sun is an event that appears in Sonic the Hedgehog (2006). It is a celebratory festival celebrated by the people of Soleanna in honor of their patron and sun god, Solaris.
The festival starts with several fire works being shot into the sky. Several denizens of Soleanna gather to watch as their monarch uses the ceremonial torch to lighten up the local fountain, giving thanks to Solaris and praying for peace. Also, there appears to be several women who dance during the festival in choreographed manners.
